Candlewood (Renton) Split-Entry

I wish I had a copy of the “before the before” pictures, when everything was original from the 1970s. I went over and gave the sellers the “to do” list and they did an amazing job at updating their home, including the kitchen and the baths. I heart them.

Exterior After: removed storm door and repainted front door a more striking color and added new hardware; pressure washed front steps and driveway; removed "welcome bear," table and weather vane from front porch; edged, weeded, mowed, barked and planted new plants.

Living Room Before: this was a super busy day for the homeowner, who is actually quite clutter-free and extremely organized.

Living Room After: We moved one of the couches downstairs, decluttered and added some accessories. This was one stage where we didn't have too bring too much stuff of our own in as the homeowner had wonderful things!

Dining Room Before

Dining Room After: Removed the hutch and extra chairs, and turned the dining table a different direction to create more space between it and the piano.

Kitchen Before

Kitchen After: Added woven wood shades and accessories.

Secondary Bedroom Before

Secondary Bedroom After: Painted trim, removed hutch portion of dresser, toy box and shelving from wall; relocated photos, brought in additional lighting.

Secondary Bedroom Before

Secondary Bedroom After: We relocated the bed to the furthest wall, which tends to make a room look bigger; painted trim; removed decals from walls, removed desk; accessorized.

Hallway Bath Before

Hallway Bath After: Lowered picture above toilet, removed two smaller pictures; accessorized.

Master Bedroom Before

Master Bedroom After: Painted the base moulding, brought in larger lamps, additional pillows for bed, made the bed a different way, and decluttered.

Master Bath Before

Master Bath After: Brought in a contemporary shower curtain and accessorized.

Family Room Before

Family Room After: Took out "too small" couch and replaced it with larger couch from upstairs; painted trim; took out bookshelves; removed two recliners and exercise equipment; updated light cover in ceiling.
